Marqell Edward Clayton

Marqell Edward Clayton is an African American professional Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Teaching Artist who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Marqell was born and raised in Northern California where he began singing and acting at a very young age. He actively participated in seemingly every community, school, and church production that took place. In his high school years Marqell developed a love for dance and the art form's ability to tell stories without the use of words.

Professionally, Marqell has a hunger and passion for projects that "artfully depict the rawness and depth of the human experience," and a desire to share his experiences in today's industry with the next generation of artists. Having lived and performed across North America, Marqell has an informed and nuanced understanding of what it means to be an entertainment professional in today's market. He takes this understanding with him in his work as a professional performer and instructor, always measuring his own personal bar of excellence against the current industry. For theatrical booking, Marqell is represented by ATB Talent Agency both in Los Angeles and New York City. He is also a sought after Music/Theatre Master Teacher.
